Paramount Projects is excited to announce its July 2016 appointment to the Shire of Wiluna’s consulting and advisory services panel. Paramount has been selected as a pre-qualified supplier of more than a dozen services including project management, business case development, governance, feasibility studies and risk assessment.
Wiluna is just under 1,000 km from Perth on the edge of the Western Desert and at the gateway to the Canning Stock Route and Gunbarrel Highway. Initially established during the gold rush in the 1890s, Wiluna today acts as a service centre for the mining and pastoral industries and is home to a number of Aboriginal language groups. Highlighting its isolation, the Shire has around 90 km of sealed roads and 1,800 km of unsealed roads across an area spanning 184,000 km2.
The appointment again reinforces Paramount’s credentials in providing key local government advisory services in regional and remote areas. It also builds our expertise in working with authorities and organisations in a number of localities (e.g. Wagga Wagga, Waroona, Broome, Derby-West Kimberley, Bunbury, Port Hedland) and for the WA Local Government Association.
Paramount is looking forward to working closely with the Shire of Wiluna to deliver highly effective and value-for-money advisory services. The appointment will run for a minimum period of three years and up to 5 years (with possibility of extension).
